Molly was an Angel child while being with us at Erica's Equine. Yet she was young she tried her all at whatever was asked of her. And this still continues at her new home! How gorgeous is she under harness?!
A young DHH gelding that is super versatile going from a driving horse, to jumping a XC course, to showing ground poles with a kid. Its all about the brain and this guy has it! #1 thing I look for when purchasing future sale horses, the brain.
Fabio one of my favorite all time favorite Dutch Harness sale horse is hitting the Dressage world! What a great horse that literally could do anything you put him up against. What a beautiful boy with a talented owner
My sweet girl, Meeka arrived Friday! Thank you Erica. You may use me as a reference anytime. Shout out to Brook Ledge transport! Seamless transport!
Owen, now known as "International Harvester" or Harvey was a lot of firsts for me. My first 2 year old horse to start on my own and also my first purchase sight unseen. Erica made the entire process easy to trust. She even welcomed a friend of mine out of state to stop by and look at him. She provided a vet check, was honest and quick to respond to any questions I had. She also stayed up late to meet his shipper and made sure he was loaded safe on his journey all the way to Florida! Her perfect description of him had me skeptical, but he has lived up to it and then some. Buying a lifelong companion should always be this easy. I can't say enough great things
I purchased a DHH X gelding from Erica without seeing him in person. Macho Man, now known as Boudewijn (Princely Friend in Dutch) - Buddy at the barn, is everything Erica said he was and more. I am absolutely in love with him and so excited about my future as a rider again. Before buying him I communicated with Erica that I was 58, getting back into riding, and looking for a dressage prospect that had no drama. Erica assured me that Buddy was my guy and she was so right. I had no idea how to go about buying a horse in PA when I live in Wisconsin but Erica was patient with the process and with my questions. Buddy arrived three weeks ago and has settled in nicely. The farrier loves him, my trainer says he is a perfect fit for me, and I agree. I highly recommend working with Erica - and though it is ideal to see a horse before buying, my experience buying sight-unseen has been fabulous. Five star rating. Erica, thank you.
"I have purchased 2 horses from Erica and one of my students purchased her mare from her also. Each horse fits her definition to a tee. She accurately describes them, posts many pictures of each angle of the horses and her videos round out the shopping experience. She tells you ever quirk, how much she's worked them, etc. If anything she under describes their potential. Both of mine have turned out to be even better than what I initially purchased them for. If you are looking for an outstanding draft cross then look no further." Melissa Rodden
. " When you buy a horse from out of state, you have to trust a whole lot of people you don't know. In today's world, that can be a bit scary. But let me tell you, you can trust Erica of Erica's Equine for Sale. My visit to her farm was so much fun. She was gracious and told me everything she knew about my future horse. I drove 900 miles roundtrip to see him, and my visit to her farm was not rushed, I rode him and basically walked alot on him just trying to get a feel and connection. There was no pressure such as "oh I have someone else wanting him", a common line we all hear. When I expressed my serious interest, she gave me the names of a couple vets in the area and shippers if I needed that. Because I'm out of state, this all took time, and Erica just went along, knowing that things just don't happen overnight. When he was vetted, she held him for the vet so I did not have to make another 900 mile round trip. It would take pages to say all the good things I want to say about her. She has lovely horses with good brains...and what she tells you, you can take to the bank. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Susan Roth"
