Kids horse camp near State college Pa/Penn State University
All ages welcome! No horse experience necessary, kids with horse experience will also enjoy themselves! We will give lessons at different riding levels daily.
Rain or shine held in a brand new facility with a 80’x120’ indoor riding arena.
All kids will be dropped off in the morning 10 min before camp starts no earlier! And picked up and the end of camp, please let us know if you will be a few minutes late.
Each day we will have an informational session about the in barn tasks to keep a horse healthy. Kids will learn how to properly handle the horses and what it takes day to day to keep the farm functional.
ALL EQUIPMENT AND HORSES NEEDED FOR CAMP WILL BE PROVIDED!
Stations will also be set up where the kids will be able to decorate their own halters for their horse (the kids can then take this home with them), decorate a lucky horse shoe (the kids can then take this home with them), learn the different pieces of tack/equipment needed to properly handle a horse, pony painting and much more!
Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day but please send the child with a lunch daily. Please dress the children appropriately for camp. They need to have a long pants and tennis shoes/sneakers to be able to participate.
From riding basics to trail rides to jumping we can accommodate all kids. Ages from 4-17 allowed.
We are located 10 min from Penn State University with several options for lodging just minutes from the farm.
Liability forms must be filled out completely and correctly for each child.
