Big, safe gelding that is easy on the eyes. Very versatile as well! Rides in a snaffle bit with a loopy rein! Suitable for most any level rider, yet fun enough for one more experienced. He is a kick ride but not a total push along dead head. Wtc's with ease. English or western, Winston will trail ride or work in the arena with the most willing attitude. AND he drives!! In the arena he is going WTC both directions. Gets both leads easily, gives to the bit, rounds to your leg, side passes, and pivots off his hind end. While still newer to the arena work we are schooling all 1st level dressage requirements. On the trail he is not easily spooked. Goes out alone or in a group with several dogs by his side. Rides the road with traffic, in wide open fields, and will help you make a trail anywhere you desire. Goes through water and over bridges as well. No bolt, buck, or rear. Winston is a total love. He stands all day on crossties as patient as can be, ground ties, or will tie to the side of the trailer. Loads/hauls and takes in new surroundings like a champ. Winston is UTD on everything. Just had his teeth, feet, worming, and coggins done. Has excellent feet but I do keep front shoes on him just for riding safety. He stalls or turns out with no vices at all. Loves to play with the other horses out in the pasture. Stands to mount, tack, and groom. No vices about anything. A very simple guy. 100% sound
